Losing Weight at 65 Year Young

I retired about 2 year back. Had time so joined Gym and got a professional trainer. Have been doing cardio for 45 minutes and 30 minutes of strengthening exercises. In addition to following diet using FitnessPal and have been able to lose about 29 lbs. But for last three months I have not been able to lose much weight and also have not lost much from waist
Any help, suggestions. Would like to make some friends
