I have been given a huge basket of red sweet peppers. I love them plain, roasted, baked, by themselves or in recipes. I just can't eat all these and I know when the winter comes, they will be so expensive.

Any ideas what I can do with these so I could have them all year. I don't have any canning equipment, so that isn't something I could do.

Help!!

    Things You'll Need
    •Knife
    •Cookie sheet
    •Freezer bags

    Instructions
    1.
◦1 Wash the red bell peppers by running cold water over them.

◦2 Remove the stems and cut the red bell peppers in half.

◦◦3 Remove the seeds and membrane.

◦4 Cut the red bell peppers into the shape and size to suit your needs.

◦5 Place the red bell peppers on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer for one hour or until frozen. This process allows the peppers to remain separate pieces despite being frozen.

◦6 Remove the cookie sheet from the freezer and place the red bell peppers into freezer bags. Seal tightly.

◦7 Label the freezer bags "bell red peppers" and date them accordingly.

◦8 Place the freezer bags with the bell red peppers in the freezer. Use the peppers as needed by removing the bag from freezer, taking out the amount needed at a time, resealing the bag and returning to the freezer.

    Tips & Warnings
•Do not touch your eyes or face while cutting the peppers. Use gloves while handling or wash hand thoroughly before and after.
