Uggh, Insanity

Let me start by saying that I really love insanity, but i'm coming in on my 4th week and my scale has stayed the same...
- I tear up my workouts (look at my calorie burn with the HRM)
- My diary is pretty good (feel free to look at it)
People that have done insanity, can you give me faith that this will result in weight loss?
I am really hoping that by the next fit test my measurements and weight finally kick in.

Let me guess, you are already slim you just want to be a bit tighter?0

yea, 5'9, started at 1450

What does that mean?0

That is why they tell you to take pictures and measurements. The scale is just a number and it doesn't really reflect how fit or healthy you are. It is fairly common to replace the fat loss with muscle gain and not see any difference on the scale.0

I did take photos and measurements, I'm hoping to see some results on the 30 day mark.
I'm just wondering if anyone has shared this experience.. where it may take your body a while to "respond" to the intensity of the workouts and new diet.0 -
What does that mean?
The skinnier you are the harder it will be to lose weight.0 -
Honestly, looking at your diary, your grams of Fat are waayyy to high on most days. Also, your dinners are loaded in carbs which means your body doesnt have a chance to burn any body fat at night, instead its burning through the last high carb meal your having. Trust me, lower the fats, and lower the carbs AT DINNER and you will instantly see a difference, both in the scale and physically.0

Thank you!!! That's the type of answer I was looking for0

Your fat and your carbs are fine. There is no real reason that you can not eat carbs at night. That is bunk and has been showen by others on these forums multiple times.
Insanity is pretty well known not to show much change on the scale.0 -
Got it. Thank you very much
Nice to see both sides.0
