Newbie from the UK

Hi everyone,

Been using the diary for a couple of days now and thought i'd better say hello. I'm Jen, i'm 29 and live in London. About a year ago I weighed 240lbs and was incredibly unhappy with how I looked. Thanks to another UK-based diet forum and the decision to turn vegan, I lost 57lbs in under 9 months!

For the past few months i've been resting on my laurels a bit. I finally wore a UK size 12/14 again and I was enjoying that feeling for a while. I quit the gym and started slipping back into my old, non-vegan eating habits (who can resist cheese?!) I've since put on 7lbs and all the lovely skinny clothes i've bought are beginning to feel a little tighter.

But from now on, this changes. I'm determined to reach my 154lb goal, hopefully by next Summer. I've been really good for the past couple of days and this site is amazing!

Any tips, stories or inspirations you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Together we can do it!

    Welcome to MFP. Biggest tip I can give you is to make sure your honest with your food diary and exercise - record everything!
