What..what is that?

I'm a member of a facebook group of ladies in my area that are all working on losing some weight. Many of them swear by theses foul looking liquid supplement and meal replacement shakes. "herbalife" being one of the most popular. So tell me, are these drinks as foul as they look? (I won't tell you what I think they look like, [it's something to do with nursing]). Is there actually any nutritional befit to them? I guess i'm stuck in my way thinking any diet pills or special drinks are a load of phooey. I honestly would like input on this.

Herba life is nothing but a calorie restricted drink. Nothing wrong with that...HOWEVER...the problem with Heab Life is that these are chemically processed shakes, like 90% of the meal shakes on the market. Whats so wrong about this? Well, herba life and just about every other company out there have been using chemicals directly linked with cnacer and other diseases. Sounds crazy right? Well, look at a Herba Life label, and google some of the ingredients and you will see for yourself how chemcically dangerous they are for your body (your liver especially). Most people refuse to believe this yet the same people never do the research. But hey, dont take my word for it, ask a doctor or a nutritionist who knows about the specific ingredients and they will tell you the same.0

I'm not trying to hate on anyone that drinks those things, It just would take a lot of bribe money to get me to drink something that looks like seaweed blended or sewer water. I don't even want to begin to think what is in that stuff!1

I totally agree with you. Its not a hate thing, just reality. If there is a known link to these chemicals and the possibility of cancer or other bodily diseases, I simply want no part of them. There are non chemical ways of losing weight and being healthy without the risks involved.0
