Elliptical York 230 help set program?

Has anyone experience setting the program on the Console. Just can't seem to get it out of manual! I wanted to put my user profile in but I think the M probably means Manual? There are lots of strange shapes at the top but I have no idea what they represent! The instructions mention joggle, never heard of that, does it mean press? Actually don't understand how to set it at all. Any help much appreciated. TIA.
