Rheumatoid Arthritis

Options
I signed up here over a year ago. Up and down and even spent 2 years working with a trainer and attending 2-3 classes a week (Zumba/Spin/Yoga) and making no progress, even though eating was well under control. Last fall I started to experience what turned into chronic pain.

After x-rays and an ultrasound, it turned out I had a torn rotator cuff. Okay - try physio... No success and things just got worse. Anyway, after finally getting an MRI and then into a specialist, it turns out I have severe rheumatoid arthritis! Sucks! Even with no exercise due to the pain, I still dropped 20 pounds since January. Not a great way to drop weight but I'll take it.

So, onwards... On meds and working at getting in some exercise now that meds are starting to work. Signed up for one deepwater aquasize class and shopping for a recumbent bike.

Anyone else here that has RA? Any ideas?
