Goals and Perspective

So, in the past I lost ALOT of weight. Ten years ago I lost over 125 lbs. I kept it off for a long time. After baby two and going back to school I gained some back and am here to lose for good. I would like to lose 40. I know I can do this but still can feel overwhelming. But I have decided to change my perspective.

I have a goal date of my birthday which happens to be X-mas time. I know very reachable. But I have decided to break it down and focus on the weight month by month. To stay on track I would like to lose 4 more lbs this month for the month of August. This seems very reachable and easy.

I think chaning my perspective can help me be successful...

I am setting my monthly goal for 10 lbs. Just ten lbs at a time. Instead of focusing on the bigger number to lose and the number I don't like on the scale. All I have to do is lose 10 lbs a month.
