Alright to take a break from the gym?

Going diving Thursday and Friday so taking a day off the gym today to recover from aches and pains... so long as I keep my calorie count in check that's ok, right? I'll still do some little exercises around the house today before we travel to the dive location but it won't be as intensive, I just woke up aching so badly today and figured if I hurt this much tomorrow I wouldn't be able to enjoy diving...

    Hellllllls YES! Absolutely take a break when you need it. Try to eat good. And by good, I don't mean little, I mean eat what you want as long as it's nutritious. Many times fatigue, aches, and overtraining are symptoms of not enough rest or food. The days off will get you the rest. Be sure to get the food. And enjoy the diving.
