Anyone know the Houston area or outside Houston?

My husband and I are relocating from Chicago to Texas soon. He will be working in Baytown. We have two young girls so looking for advice on where to live that has good school district. Hubby also would like to live on some land if possible. Any help is appreciated :)

And also....we were wondering about Crosby??? Thoughts?

    We lived in Sugarland for a year, 2009 - 2010. It's a very nice area and very, very good schools. I can't remember exactly how far it is from Baytown. Traffic in the Houston area is terrible!! That was the thing I disliked the most...that and the heat.

    Clear Creek ISD is one of the best districts in the state. Crosby is a kind of small town. Less than 3000 if wikipedia is to be believed. I don't know if you're from a Chicago suburb or if you live in the city, but Crosby would be a BIG change. I have a friend who works in the Crosby school district so I'm sure your little ones would be in good hands if you did decide to move there.
