I started the summer at 150lbs. I'm down about 7lbs as of today! I was starting to think that no one I know would ever notice my weight loss. I mean my own hubby said he couldn't see a difference until I got undressed but the hubby of a lady I visit with every week DID notice today! She and I volunteer together every week and then we spend a few minutes at house visiting. She and I also work-out together at the community center. Her hubby asked me today if I was losing weight, I was happy to tell him "yes, I have been!" It's not much but it was nice that someone noticed!

It is such a good feeling and motivator when people notice! I know that makes me feel bad then seeing the darn scale move.

Yeah -- my husband never notices either. Kind of found the whole thing of me actually exercising slightly amusing and very skeptical that it would make any difference or that I'd stick with it or that it mattered. (I think it makes him feel guilty because the doctor says weight loss is the key to eliminating his type 2 diabetes but he won't do it!) It wasn't until I lost enough that my wedding ring fell off and almost got lost twice (it's in the jewelry box now until I am done losing and have it resized at my final weight); and then we went to a family reunion and everyone ELSE was noticing and commenting that he really believed that I'd lost weight. He's kind of clueless like that. But it is nice when others do as long as they don't get hung up on it and refuse to talk to you about anything else. (a pet peeve of mine!) Anyway, good job...keep up the good work!
