[Eggnog] Breakfast 'Smoothie'
I have a really hard time eating breakfast so I'm trying ease it into my hectic morning schedule. This one is nice because you can get it ready the night before, and its yummy and easy to make! Kind of like Yop.
1/2 cup of your favorite vanilla yogurt
1 cup of 1% milk.
Put in a 'to go' type drink container and stir until ingredients are blended. If you chill overnight, be sure to give it a good shake in the morning.
I added a splash of light eggnog (maybe 1/8 cup if that) with a bit of fresh nutmeg and it was super yummy.
With eggnog - 250 calories
Without eggnog - 220 calories

If you wanted more protein, a little protein powder could be added as well. There is protein in the yogurt and the milk, but if you wanted more.......0

It's also probably good to add something to this so you don't have only dairy, I just like it because I'm trying to ease my way into breakfast and it's a great starter for me.0
