Hello there! Last week, I was googling a calorie counter and lo and behold I stumbled upon this site. I must say, after reading through it a bit, I had to sign up... so a almost a week later here I am. I'm married mom in my mid thirties, and though I'm an active person with an active job, the weight has piled on the last few years. I'm not looking solely to lose weight, but considering my family's health history, I need to change my entire approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle! Before MFP, I worked my booty off to lose 25 pounds but have since hit a plateau. I enjoy working out, and discovered that I really like weight lifting. I haven't set a long-term goal yet, but hope to continue my progress. I also look forward to reading all the interesting (and awesome) posts from members!
