Under net calories but over carbs/fat/protein?

Hi. I just started using this last week. For the past couple of days I will finish eating my meals and snacks for the day but will still have around 100-300 calories left to eat but will be over my recommended intake of carbs/fat/protein. I try to eat healthy. I have fruits such as strawberries, apples, bananas, and whole grain crackers for snacks and I will usually have a salad with my dinner. I recently switched my breakfast from a sugary cereal to oatmeal with a little brown sugar. Also, some nights a few hours after dinner I force myself to eat a lot to make sure I am over 1200 calories. I know you can change how much carbs/fats/protein you have but I just kept the recommended amount. Any tips?

It really doesn't matter if you're over on macros unless you're way off while aiming for a specific ratio. Since it seems like you don't really care what the numbers are, don't worry about going over. Some people find that they feel less hungry on diets that are higher in proteins and fats, but that's for you to figure out for yourself. If you're eating nutritious foods and maintaining a caloric deficit, you should see healthy sustainable weight loss.

First of all, you can't be over on all your macros at the same time and be under on calories. Mathematically impossible. Secondly, MFP sets your protein goals way low. Try for 1 gram of protein/lb. lean body mass. Eat youe macro on fat and fill in the rest with carbs.
