SGT, Active Army for 6 years, Air Defense branch and Adjutant General branch.

    Korea, Germay, Fort Lewis.

Army employee (GS12) for 12 years, Fort Lewis, Rucker, Iraq, etc.

I was in the Air Force, Sgt,
Stationed at Bentwaters, UK, Randolph, TX, and Hanscom AFB, MA.

Worked in Administration and was an Honor Guard with the honor to fold the flag and do a 14 gun salute to those soldiers that died. Worked with Legal, Transportation, AWACS, and Student Pilot Squadron (in TX). Totally rocked! Also had training in chemical warfare. Lots of opportunities in the military. I miss it!

    U.S. Army 1988 - 1991

02L Saxophone player (but also played Piano half of the time since the Army was short on Piano players)

Stationed at Ft. Dix, New Jersey (for Basic Training)

Ft. Huachuca, Arizona (for Intelligence School training)

    after requesting to switch MOS's....

Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia (Armed Forces School of Music)

I put on my wishlist upon graduating the school of music...

Hawaii, Ft. Ord, The Presidio, Ft. Lewis, Ft. Huachuca and if all else failed.... Ft. Carson...

Where did they send me? Ft. Rucker... Alabama is what I got! They apparently didn't even look at the list. lololol

That was a long 2 1/2 years (at Rucker).... being that I LOVE aviation though.... it WAS a lot of fun to watch the Pilots train and I even got to fly a full motion flight simulator once and even got to fly a small OH-58 chopper with a Pilot who's wedding I played Piano for!

    Army NG - 2000-2006 (91S now a 68S- Preventive Medicine Specialist)
    Deployed to Kosovo 2003

Now i am a registered nurse house supervisor. I work on a military unit funded by Tricare for soldiers and veterans with PTSD and substance abuse problems. Currently working on my psychiatric nurse practitioner license so i can treat soldiers with PTSD and other mental health issues. I would like to get back into the NG or go active after my masters in nursing is completed as well. On a side note the new gi bill rocks.....if you are not using it u should be. As a NG veteran i only qualified for 60 percent of the benefit due to my active duty time and it was still a huge help getting my BSN:-)
