calories a day?

I have been training for the great north run for 10 weeks, but only just got serious about my nutrition. Mfp is awesome though I am not sure how many cals I ought to eat a day. I burn about 1000-1500 cals a day. I am not sure how many cals to actually set for my daily amount and if I ought to actually eat back the exercised cals? I have been doing it for about a week now ans lost 4 lb but ky deficit is about 1600 a day. Anyone help?
