has anyone tried/has lost weight on the depo shot?

i got the depo shot in july and started dieting 2weeks ago. im doing Jillian Michael 30 day shred and eating good and using myfitnesspal of coarse but ive heard from some people on the internet that its impossible to lose weight ): on the shot has anyone tried? ive lost 3 lbs but i want to keep losing weight
