Doing too much

Hey Guys,

I workout 7 days a week using my Wii Active game, but lately I am feeling like I am setting myself up for failure. I have a very addictive attitude, which means when I do something I'm ALL in. This can be a good and a bad thing at the same time. Every morning I get up around 2:30 and I strive to burn about 1200+, but now I feel like I may be pushing myself too hard. Today I decided to cut back and only burn 600 but now I feel guilty.

Has anyone else had trouble accepting the fact that the weight takes to time to get off just like it took time to pack on? I am very over critical of myself and I know if I don't cut back I'll be burning 3,000+ before 5 am. What can I do so I don't burn myself out but also not quit. What is a realistic time frame to lose 40 lbs? What have some of you done to lose the weight and keep it off?

I want to lose weight for the sake of health and (vanity just a little) but i don't want it to be a compulsion. Please comment and feel free to add me.
