revelation for using scale

I feel I was sent a symbolic example of why I should weigh and embrace the scale yesterday.

I read so much on here..."throw away the scale" .... I ran into two women on two separate occasions on the elevator yesterday in my high rise condo. Each lost weight a few years ago by working out..jogging. I have not seen them in a year. Both have ballooned back up..I'd say, they weigh more than they did. I did a good job about not looking surprised or that anything was other than normal.

This reinforces my belief that maybe keep the scale under control while losing..by weighing just every so often... but we have to weigh once we are at goal or when we look how we want EVERY DAY to make sure it doesn't creep back on.
