Half of your sugars came fruit. If you're concerned with sugar, stop eating fruit.

Alternatively, if a doctor hasn't given you a reason to be concerned specifically about your sugar, you could just ignore it entirely and focus on your total calories and macronutrients.

I ran into this a few days ago!

Breakfast was coffee, cereal, and a banana. Sounded healthy, but it had 56g of sugar.

I've since switched to black coffee. (-19g)
I eat 1/2 the amount of cereal (-12g)
I make myself some egg whites with chopped veggies (whatever's leftover). (+0g)

I find that I actually enjoy switching it up and getting creative.

A friend of mine actually eats "lunch" food for breakfast. (Just whatever she has for leftovers.)
