Week 3 August 5 - 174 (down 3, but is actually a week and a half. I had used Mondays weight)
Week 4 August 12 - 172
Week 5 August 19 - Not weighing in
Week 6 August 26 -168.2 (if I lose 1.2 in the next 5 days I hit my first mini goal)

    I think it is fair to say I will never be 145 by Christmas at this rate. I will aim for 150. This is discouraging.

    Week 14 October 14 180 I am so happy. I have been struggling this whole challenge and Sunday morning I woke up and made up my mind to really push myself from now until Christmas and then reset my goals after the holidays.
    Week 15 October 21 184 back up..but I ate a lot of tasty but salty food yesterday for my birthday.
    Week 16 October 28 182 back down 2...can you say rollercoaster?
    Week 17 November 4 181 I'll Take a pound a week.
    Week 18 November 11 182:sad: Maybe its because of the bad weekend.. or I added more weight

    Updating for the week.

    Start Date July 15 Starting weight 303
    Week 1 July 22 - 300.4 down 2.6 I'll take it!
    Week 2 July 29 – 300.4 No loss but after camping last weekend I’m surprised I didn’t gain. Hopefully next week will show a loss. ;)

    Week 3 August 5 - 299.6 -.8 lost really been struggling. Still trying though.
    Week 4 August 12 – 296 -3.6 woohoo!!!!!
    Week 5 August 19 – 293.8 -2.2 Yeah! I didn’t blow it on my camping trip last weekend.
    Week 6 August 26 – 292.3 -1.5 Woo hoo! Might make it to my goal next week! I sure hope so! Total of 10.7 lost since we started.

    Week 7 September 2 Labor Day is Monday - hope to be @ 290 by today. 291.4 lost .9 this week and didn’t make my goal Oh well, there’s always next week.
    Week 8 September 9 – 287.2 4.2 lost Woo hoo! I’m only a few days late but I’m definitely below 290 now.
    Week 9 September 16 – 285.8 1.4 lost total of 17.2 since we started
    Week 10 September 23 – 284.6 1.2 lost total of 18.4 so far. Doubting that I’ll make my 280 goal by next week though.
    Week 11 September 30 Eli’s birthday – 283 lost 1.6 total of 20 so far. I didn’t make it to my 280 goal by today but I’m close. Maybe next week.

    Week 12 October 7 – 280.4 2.6 pounds lost. I will take this as my 280 goal met. 22.6 pounds lost total.
    Week 13 October 14 – 280.0 .4 lost. Not all that impressive. Going to have to try harder. 23 pounds total
    Week 14 October 21 – 274  6.0 LOST!!! I don’t know what happened but I’m absolutely THRILLED with it. Let’s just hope it sticks.
    Week 15 October 28 – 274.6 ;-P .6 gained but that’s alright. After such a big loss last week I didn’t expect a loss this week. I’m still working at it though.

    Week 16 November 4 – 273.8 down .8 since last week. At least I’m headed in the right direction now.
    Week 17 November 11 – 271.4 down 2.4 since last week. Woo Hoo! 31.6 lost since we began in July.

    momto4wifeto1... I think you're doing really good! You're averaging almost 2lbs a week! Hang in there... this is the WORST time to try to lose weight... with it being winter your body doesn't want to shed the weight that keeps you warm... not to mention all those tasty holiday treats. Kudos!

    Tonight is my last day of the C25K running program!!!

    But then of course I have to keep at it afterwards...lol. For anyone interested I highly recommend the program. It really built my cardio at a good pace and I am up to running 31 minutes... me, at 204 lbs is running (well more like jogging at this point but it really gets the heart pounding) 31 minutes. Now I am going to focus on gradually increasing my speed.

    You are losing at a slow and steady pace and that is the healthiest way to do it. Please don't be discouraged, you are doing an amazing job. :bigsmile:

    Cngrats to the Grad, that is awesome. I finished it a few weeks back and did my first 4 mile run last weekend. Just keep at it, it is definetly helping with your weight loss. You are doing awesome. :bigsmile:

    Datenshi and jjtonic- I'm so happy about your running successes!!! :drinker: I can honestly say that running has changed my life. It's the only thing I've ever done that I can actually feel myself improving every time! I'm planning on running my first 1/2 marathon in April which will be exactly a year after I first started to run! Keep at it and keep me posted!

    Okay, well I weighed myself yesterday and this morning and both times it said I was down a pound, but I still don't quite beleive it, so I'm giving it another day before I post my official weigh in!

    It's crazy that one pound could be such a momentous event, but after this crazy plateau, it IS!!!

    Everyone keep their fingers crossed and I'll report again tomorrow!

    That is great. I can still remember when I said I would never run and now here I am. I have a 5K to run on Thanksgiving morning and one on December 31st. It is amazing how running has changed my thinking. It has also helped my bootie in many ways. I can actually see and feel a difference there. LOL After this round of P90X I will start a new running program. to get my endurance up more. I may go with the 10K program. There is a 7 mile run in May in a neighboring town and it sounds like a lot of fun. Who knows I may even do a 1/2 marathon later next year. Wow, did I just say that?
    Keep running Channing, maybe someday I will catch up. :bigsmile:

    Hi everyone ... I've been MIA lately ... really slacking in my efforts. I apologize for this because I love the support and encouragement I get from these posts and I want to do the same for all of you. Well today's a new beginning for me ... I did it ... I JOINED A GYM!!! I go for my first assessment on Sunday ... I can't go tomorrow because I have tickets to a show ... but Saturday morning I'm joining in on a Zumba class. I can't wait. I've done Zumba to a DVD and I loved it but I can't wait to be in a live class ... it should be soooo much fun!!!

I JOINED A GYM!!! I go for my first assessment on Sunday ... I can't go tomorrow because I have tickets to a show ... but Saturday morning I'm joining in on a Zumba class. I can't wait. I've done Zumba to a DVD and I loved it but I can't wait to be in a live class ... it should be soooo much fun!!!

    I finally lost those two last pounds, so I have reset my goal weight to 120 to see if I can actually make it there. It took me over three months to lose the last five so I'm not expecting quick results. I'm super excited.

    I finally lost those two last pounds, so I have reset my goal weight to 120 to see if I can actually make it there. It took me over three months to lose the last five so I'm not expecting quick results. I'm super excited.
