My shrink

Went to see the old headshrinker today, and he looks at me and asks, "have you lost a lot of weight?" I say, "Yes, I've lost about 25 pounds." He responds by telling me, "Wow, you're on a lot of meds that can make it hard to lose weight. You look great!"

I still have a long way to go, but it really feels good to have someone notice.

Also, I've read a lot about people having trouble losing weight while on anti-depressants (I have to take 4 seperate antidepressants). It is harder, but it can still be done. We just have to work harder.

Good luck to everyone else!

I have suffered with severe depression helped by medication and shrink time since I was 13. I am proud of you because I know that mentally it is a battle as much as it is physically when you get that feeling you do not want to go on. You're doing awesome and I love hearing people with this condition talk about their success. Proof it can be done!
