So my son is really pushing my willpower to the test. He's practicing to be a baker. HELP! I've tried to get him to use lowfat stuff and stevia..but he claims these ruin his "creations" and his "creations" could ruin my progress.

edit -- for instance today he made chocolate cherry chip cookies..ok those are like 120 a cookie..I can live with that...but now he is making a Loaf Cake with Orange Glaze and that's about 600 calories a shot!

Freeze it, bring it to work, give it to neighbors. Make him responsible to get it out of the house ASAP. You DO NOT have to taste everything he makes. Or have one little taste. He should understand the reason.

Like someone else said -- take it to work and have everyone ELSE try it! You can do a little rating system for him -- have your coworkers, etc. rate his "creations" and give feedback. Might even help him (in the long run) if he wants to become an awesome baker.

I take 1 cookie and break it up into at least 3 sections...and as far as that loaf cake goes...yeah at 600 calories a shot...that piece is going to have to last me for DAYS!

He does make little bundles of his "goodies" up for different people..so that's not a problem. I just wish he could have picked something else to be "good" at :)
