Kansas Girl dreaming of a thinner sunset

Options
45 year single woman, no kids at home - just me and the puppies, so that makes it little easier not having to cook dinner. I tend to lean on Weight Watcher Smart Ones and Lean Cuisine TV dinners.

I've been on the bigger side my whole life, but always seemed to carry it fairly well. Now that I'm older and my body creaks a lot more under protest of all the weight, I'm trying to make a new start for myself before it's too late. Health-wise I'm excellent, low blood sugar, low blood pressure and even low cholesterol. I'm just fat.

Any middle-aged folks found anything that's working for you? I'm willing to try just about anything. Had a torn ACL fixed in my knee couple years ago, and broken ankle on the other - so running/jogging and sometimes even walking is difficult if not impossible for me.

When I started this I had a few friends on here for "support". They've all since given up. So I guess I'm not doing too bad if I keep tracking on MFP.

Good luck to all of you!
