New kid from Cape Charles VA

I learned about this site from Woman's World and I have found it more to my liking than Spark People. Since I have been using this site I have already lost 5 lbs. Anyway, I live here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia after spending 30 years in Utah- I got married and my husband has family here. He is, however, very good at sabotaging diets. He is not getting a chance this time. 
I do have a doctor's appointment coming up, and have decided to have him help me get Ken on the same page and not make this time so difficult. He is a good man tho. I hope to have great success here using the tools available and make a few new friends.
