Im sure it has something in it that's awful for you. Haha. But I drink it when I have a soda craving and it seems to help!

My personal recommendation is don't drink bottled water. Snag a reusable drink bottle and fill from the tap.

Bottled water does not have nearly the stringent testing that tap water is required to pass.
Increasingly, bottled water comes from the tap. (25%)
Bottled water creates mountains of garbage and causes other major environmental problems.
Bottled water is thousands of times more expensive than tap water.

I drink bottled water everyday, up to 8 liters a day. I cannot drink tap water. I have medical conditions that prevent the consumption of tap water, so keep in mind tap water isn't for everyone.

It's a sparkling water and they are flavored.
  • If you filter tap water yourself, I'm pretty sure it's cleaner than most bottled water considering they have traveled up to thousand of miles leaching plastic chemicals into the water. Of course, I'm totally guilty sometimes too, especially on the run - the only bottled water that taste good to me is Fiji Water and I'll be the first to admit that shipping water from Fiji is beyond ridiculous. Here in Hawaii we export water because it is considered exotic and we also import Evian from the French alps because... yeah, I don't know. I guess one's own water is never exotic enough.

I drink bottled sparkling flavored water. The bottles are recyclable (and I recycle).

If it's a flavored water that's just water with lime or something added, it will hydrate you the same. I think whether it counts as "water" for dietary purposes depends on personal preference and whether it has any flavorings you're trying to avoid.

It's flavoured, artificially sweetened water - just like a diet soft drink. It's not plain water - but it will still hydrate you.

If you aren't bothered by artificial sweeteners - go for it.
