starting over for the first time in many years

Just getting started this week on a program of healthier eating. I lost 35 pounds 20 years ago and kept it off for 17 years. I was very proud of this accomplishment as it was a struggle for years to lose weight and I finally found the ability to do it and keep it off. These last three years have been a struggle between illness, loss and many other life changes and taking care of myself seemed to be too much. I have now gained almost all of that weight back and am trying to reconcile the person I am now to who I was then. I am a fitness instructor who has had to cut back drastically on exercise due to illness and my body is feeling it with weight gain and loss of energy. So I need to regroup and get back to a healthier weight and a modified exercise program. Any encouragement or words of wisdom would be appreciated!
