So I know you're not supposed to weight yourself everyday but I do anyway.
Yesterday I weighed in at 193.8...
Today was 192.2!!!! I'm SO excited. Espeically because last week I gained a lb.
And my workout last night was AMAZING.
I did my usual 30 minutes on the elliptical... and then headed for the tread mill. I hate running.. I don't know why, so what I did was cranked the incline up to 4.5 and "power walked" at 4.0 mph. OH MY GOSH. Not only did I get a GREAT cardio work out in.. but this morning I feel like I did whole body strength training too!!! My lower abs especially burn. Which is great cuz that's my problem area!! (They've never been very strong since my C-Section), I feel so great today. I'm sick again, but I think i'm going to go to the gym tonight anyway. I have my inhaler.. I'll make it...
I hope everyone else has a GREAT DAY!!!!

Congratulations! That's such a boost to your efforts! Keep it up!
I weigh in every day, too. It's what keeps me accountable. I don't want to see a high number on the scale the next morning because I made bad choices today. Plus, I'm just way too impatient!0 -
I also weigh in everyday to keep myself accountable. If not, I would overeat for a few days and then try like mad to make up for it right before the weigh in. (I know myself)
I understand that I can have the same number for days or even go up a pound from one day o the next, but it doesn't bother me. I have it set in my head that one or maybe two pounds lost a week is a success!0 -
Good for you!!! Congratulations and keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing with us. :flowerforyou:0

Congratualtions,it sounds like you are very enthusiastic. Walking at a good pace on an incline is actually better than running on a flat threadmill. Try to see if you can increase the incline every minute, for just one minute, and before you know it, you'll be walking on a steep incline all the time.
I walked on an incline on the threadmill for the last couple of years, and when I first started out it was hard, but by increasing the incline every one minute, it doesn't seem as bad. Now I love walking and hiking up hills and hate going down hills. I use to try to avoid walking up hills all the time, now I look for steep inclines to hike. It's a great thing. Keep it up...you're doing GREAT!!:flowerforyou:0
