Hi all,
So, I'm new. Or rather, I'm not: I joined MFP about two years ago, but have never ever used it properly. And (quelle surprise) have never lost any weight. So here I am, again, doing it properly this time. Particularly with the community aspect, which I've never tried before and which may well have bene my downfall.
Current weight is around 87kg, and at 5'9'' that's a bit too much. Target is a round 70kg, which will take me back to my 21yr old weight (I'm 27 now). Hoping to get at least half done by Christmas, and be all the way there this time next year.
I'm trying the 5:2 diet - 5 days @ normal calories and 2 'fast' days @ 500 calories per week. So far it seems to be working...and it's not as hard as I thought it would be...
Anyway: nice to meet you all. Let me know if you need cheering on, and I hope you'll do the same for me in return....!
