QUESTION: for insanity people!

i know this is long but i would really appreciate help!
i'll give a little backstory before i ask my question. i started MFP in march this year at 110lbs (i'm 5'1"). after netting 1200 cals/day for about a month (my weight was ~107-108 here), i changed my goal to net 1350. at this point, i was doing the stairmaster about 3-4 days/week and on the other days i was doing blogilates (pilates) youtube videos. also, i was eating my exercise calories back. this worked and after two weeks i lost the last couple of pounds which put me at my goal weight of 105lbs.
here's where my problems start - mid-july, i got fed up with "eating right" and took a week off to eat whatever i felt like eating (bad idea!). i gained 5lbs and found ~3lbs of it to be water weight. a week after eating right again, i was down to 107lbs. the same week i started eating right again, i started insanity. my net is set at 1350 cals/day like before and i usually eat some of my exercise calories back during the day, but often bank them for use on the weekends (never had problems doing this before).
now my question - it's been almost 3 weeks since i started eating right again and doing insanity. i still weigh 107lbs (actually, today i weighed in just under 108). i don't understand how i haven't lost any weight at all. last time, after eating 1350 and exercising not even as much as i do now, i lost the last couple pounds in 2 weeks. should i not eat all of these insanity exercise calories? is insanity making my muscles retain water? i have no idea what's going on and i'm thinking about quitting insanity after next week.
--- ps: i know a couple of pounds doesn't seem like much to all of you, but at 5'1" a couple of pounds is the difference between a pudgy stomach and a flat stomach!

I find this confusing too hun but it would probably be a good idea to calculate your required calories using the equations in the Insanity nutrition guide. MFP had me on 1200 but Insanity said 1800 to loose!0

i'll definitely look at that! thanks!0 -

so i calculated it according to insanity, and it says i need ~1500 to lose - but that means 1500 cals/day and not eating back exercise calories, right? well, that's about what i have been eating.. grrr0 -
Honestly, I think you just packed on some muscle.0

That's how I understand it, you've already eaten them via the 'activity' multiplier bit... Maybe try upping by 100 or so for a few weeks and see what happens?
I lost 13lbs in the first month but had more to loose than you, since then my weight's been pretty stable but I'm still shrinking and toning.0 -
Bump...
I am just finishing up week 2 and I have not been following the Insanity Nutrition Guide. I am now re-thinking if I should be (MFP says I should eat about 1200 cal and Insanity says about 1500 cal). I don't really need to lose much weight (probably about 5 lbs), so I have been searching for an answer on whether I should have been following the Nutrition Guide all along... or if I should start now? I need to tone up and I am more interested in just burning the layer of fat and start showing some muscle.
Also... Does anyone use the Recovery drink? My boyfriend and I are doing Insanity together and it's already difficult and expensive as it is to buy and prepare all the "clean" foods everyday for 5 meals each to meet my 1200 MFP goal, is the drink really necessary?0 -
We've never used the recovery drink, I don't think we can even get it here in the uk.
I'm on the first week of round 3 and am down 20lbs and at least 7 inches off my waist.
We do not use the recipies in the nutrition guide really but stick to the calorie and macro guidelines and that seems to be working.0
