P90X Questions

Hey Guys and Girls,

Starting up P90X in addition to my current training routine. I just want to get back to training twice a day, so I'll be doing it in the early morning before work.

I'm in decent shape, and I've done lots of plyos and HIIT stuff before. Just wondering if there is anything I should know before starting it up. Any advice?

I'll make sure to post up pictures when it's all over. Looking forward to it.

  • Its pretty self explanatory for the most part, Tony makes it pretty easy (and hard) for anyone to follow. I know alot of people dont "log" everything but i find it extremely helpful to know how much progress you've made.

    In the morning make sure you do a good warmup before starting otherwise (at least for me) it was cramp city. I found it was easier for me to do in the afternoon.

    I never did any of their supplements they talk about and it seemed to work fine for me, they spend alot of time talking about their "recovery drinks" and vita packs. I just stuck to the ol protein shake and felt great after a workout.

    PS: Do a search for P90Excel, it makes logging extremely easy.
