Is it sad that, in my Motivational photo, I'm still overweight?

It isn't sad at all. It is smart. I usually set mini goals for myself, approx 10lbs at a time. If I had of thought of the entire amount I needed to lose to be in my healthy range I probably would have quit out of frustration and hopelessness.

My next goal is 175lbs by the end of the year. So far I haven't made much progress and Christmas will definitely be a challenge.

One of my motivational pictures is of me at about 200 lbs. The other one is me at 12.... it was probably the last time I was at a healthy weight.
  • EVERYONE: keep up the good work. Don't let one bad day destroy your week. I've never been on one of these sites before, so I'll see how it goes. I am not used to having to track what I eat and that is the biggest difference so far, regardless of how exact (or not) the calories and food types are in this site.

Take care and have a great day
