big arms and legs

So, I have really big arms and legs and they seem to be the last place I lose weight from. I was talking to my mom and she asked if when I get down to my goal weight if I'll have surgery to get them smaller and I hadn't planned on it, but now I'm wondering...has anyone had that done before? And if so, do you have bad scars or pictures I can see?
