Obliques (V muscle) question

So recently, I've finally been able to see that v-cut on my lower obliques that I love so much in guys (and that makes me feel like a bad-a** fitness chick). I love my little guys, however, I've noticed that the cut on my left side is much deeper than on my right, which makes me look a bit lopsided. From what I've heard (could be wrong), these cuts primarily come from losing body fat, but does anyone know of some moves that could help even me out? I primarily distance run (4x a week), with body-weight/light weight strength training 3-4x a week. I'm not a girl who has ever been afraid of a few planks or squats
. Any advice is appreciated!
