I am going to Myrtle Beach in late September for a few days.

Any suggestions on places to stay, eat, things to do?

How about the weather around that time of year.

Avista Resort is pretty awesome! it’s in North Myrtle Beach and right on the beach. There are less people there usually and about 15 min drive from the main board walk. As far as food, Cracker Barrel is pretty amazing too, if you love breakfast food that’s the place to go.

I don’t know about the weather that time of year though.

Have a safe and fun trip ^_^

when i went, i pretty much laid on the beach, walked on the beach, and swam in the pool at the hotel that was on the beach. but i was really kinda broke to do much else. i jut recommend relaxing :)!

and the weather should still be warm :) less humid too so that will be good.

Drive about 20 miles north into North Carolina and eat in Calabash. There's a great restaurant called Ellas and they serve killer fried oysters. It's not fancy, but the food is good. If you want fancy, there's a restaurant just up the road that I can't remember the name of that's more expensive and has some fancier stuff on the menu.

There's all sorts of things to do in Myrtle Beach. It's a tourist beach and has anything from putt putt to parasailing.

The weather in mid to late September should be upper 70s-low 80s during the day and 60s at night. Hopefully you won't get a hurricane since it's still hurricane season in September.

    Have fun!

Broadway on the Beach is a must for restaurants and nightlife. Jimmy Buffett's place is fun, and there is a cool dueling piano bar too. You can walk around that area and find lots of neat places. The weather in September is just perfection.

Yes! I totally agree about Ella's in Calabash!

Broadway on the Beach is fun, they have an aqarium, Riley's, IMAX, I think the Bodies exhibit is there now which is awesome. Really thought you could spend all of your time on/in/around the boardwalk and be amused Sept is a good time to go because it won't be packed like it's been all summer. If you like the dinner/show type places the Pirate show is awesome but really expensive. We live close to MB and drive down for the day once a month or so

And it'll still be pretty warm down here. :)
