10 minute?

Is 10 minutes an okay time for a mile running? I just started my running journey (started out with some walking too) in June, and today my pace was 10min/mile. Okay time? I have a 5K next weekend, and I'd like to be at about 31 minutes. My run today was 3.2 miles in 32 minutes.

I think it's great, I can't run a 10-minute mile probably haha, I'm flat-footed so running is rather awkward...but I do know friends who run the mile in 7 minutes or so and they're in pretty damn good shape.
:-) Good luck on your 5k!0 -

Good time. You'll probably do even better in the race because of the adrenaline. Ibstarted at ten min miles too. Now I'm up to 9 min miles.0
