Have we got any Tim Ferris fan's here?

  • Not me: The diet seems quite dangerous in that it eliminates good sources of carbs and fruit except on one cheat day a week.
While this may be a short-term weight-loss strategy for some, as a long-term diet plan coupled with exercise it is short on nutrients.

I've read a number of posts from people on the site 4hourpeople, complaining they are not losing weight and their diet is about 900 calories, gross, then they exercise, leaving them with 200 net. Inevitably some Ferris disciple comes in and exclaims it must be the tomato slices they are having because tomatoes are high in carbs rather than the fact their diet is calorie deprived and low in nutrients.

Another ridiculous fad diet, and a dangerous one for some.

I've heared people say that a couple of times, I read the book when it came out, everything seemed a little extream, reduction in volume is good, but my personal view is, the body goes into starvation mode and stores fat.

There were alot of interesting views in the book though, especially in the exersizes.
