Recent transfer from another site. I find this one sooo much easier to use.
Started 2yrs with the idea of losing 80-90 lbs, but after losing 50, I slipped on some ice while wearing slippers (guess that's why they're called slippers) and threw my back out of whack. Gave it a year and a half to "fix itself", but only got worse. Finally went to a chiropractor after gainging back 60 lbs (oh, but they were tasty pounds!). I can now be on my feet for more than 20 min without pain!
So it is time to get back on track. Gonna shoot for 70lbs by April 1st. For me, the first 10-20 are easy (already down 10 in less than a week), but the rest are harder. Much. I know 240 is still large for 6'2", but I am naturally big. the lowest I have been as an adult was about 210 (scales not avail), but that involved swimming many hrs a day chow halls sometimes unavailable. Can't swim now because of the odd hours I work, and without a 16 yr old lifeguard present it is unsafe to swim in a pool.
Still trying to decide wich is cheaper; buying new clothes that fit, or eating healthy.
