I am new to MyFitnessPal. Turning 40 definitely slowed the metabolism and added some weight to the belly - yuck! I recently ran a Marathon with the hopes of dropping a lot of weight! I only lost 2 lbs - I think I ate more to compensate for all the exercising. So anyway, I am trying a new approach - cracking down on the eating! Funny because it is harder for me to watch my eating that it was to train for a Marathon! So here goes . . . wanting to lose 18 lbs!
