Yeah, so, my diary was ruined by a Thai Chicken Wrap from Au Bon Pain....a friggin Chicken Wrap! LOL
Never realized those were so bad for you, might as well just have two pieces of bread right? All because I forgot my protein shake at home and needed something to eat at work. (Restaurants in the Loop are always closed at 6PM (when I start work).
Has anyone else ever been "fooled" by a so called "healthy option"?

Ready made sandwiches are shocking! I saw a chicken wrap today with 600 calories! I have a beef and salad whole wheat wrap every week day and it's about half that!0

It depends on the kind of tortilla that is used, and usually the dressings can be very high in fat and sodium. There's good options out there, just have to keep an eye on it. You can probably make one yourself that would be half the calories.0

Did you just mention the Loop? Woot to a fellow Chicagoan!0

Yeah, look up salads for your basic restaurant! So not the healthy option! Even if you have dressing on the side! Houston's Restaurant salads have a range of 750-500 calories and 30-60 grams of fat!
I don't want my salad dressed for the artic . . . . . just scantily clad for the beach0 -
I remember last December when i was on WW, I was visiting my hometown and I joined a friend and her children for dinner at a local chain restaurant. I though I was being SO good, and then when I looked up the information when I got home (I don't have a smart phone) and calculated the points value, I nearly cried. My healthy dinner was almost my entire points allotment for the day!0

Yeah, totally! That is exactly the reason why I signed up for MFP! Basically, my first week of tracking my intake I ate things like I always had and I learned so much.
Subway's little bags of wheat crisps = 250 calories (almost as much as my sub was)
Getting a little smarter every day!0 -

Yeah, MFP changed my life! I didn't realize how much "a little of this" and "a little of that" added up to be at the end of the day. Quite shocking. I even notice with all the portion control, you must limit condiments and toppings for certain things. It's crazy but an eye opener.
I only got that one wrap b/c Au Bon Pain was about to close (only things they had out were wraps and pastries) and needed to get something for dinner (worked til 10 that night) and it was the only other option from Mickey D's and Wendy's. Wraps never again! lol0
