I can't run, but I can donate/dedicate my ride today to the cause. 41.99 miles. It's actually my PR for distance and average speed. I will also dedicate whatever I can manage to do tomorrow as well.

I wasn't planning to run tomorrow, but I will for Andy - I remember how I felt when my Freddie passed and I wanted to do something to honor his memory. Will have some biking miles too. I'm so sorry for your loss.0

Thanks again for all your support.
Your all amazing and I appreciate you thoughts and efforts for our little lady. I know she is enjoying all the attention.
Andy was an amazing dog. She loved to run. When she was around four years old she was hit by a car. This was a Sunday and I took her to the nearest animal emergency, they didn't have much hope but they kept her over night with strict orders that they were not to put her down without me beside her. She made it through the night but was told that she could not be helped her in Kansas City to save her leg. I was visiting in KC and lived in Omaha at the time so I took her home and to a vet there, no luck on saving her leg. They told me our best chance at saving her leg would be Manhattan KS. She was there over a month with strangers and was so happy to be home with family. It took her about three months before she could walk on her own. Her leg was damaged for the remainder of her life but she still could run with the best of them.0 -

Had knee surgery last year, so no running allowed .... but I am now cycling. Will get my long ride in tomorrow and think of your pet Andy, will also ponder the loss of my dog, Thunder, last Remembrance Day. Thanks for the virtual pet remembrance. :flowerforyou:0
