Okay, so I have been gone off of this site for a while. I was really busy with the rest of my life between the kids, husband, working 3 jobs, and school. I have been busy, but I started working out to relieve the stress I could feel building. In addition, it has became "me" time. I am loving it  . While it is getting hard to get out of bed and head to the gym I am glad I did.
My problem lies in getting in all of my calories. I decided I didn't want to be 200 pounds anymore, so I took out all of the fast food. (I have been fast food free for 5 days  ) I allow myself one pop a day and a sweetie (candy bar or cookie). I still add these to my journal. I drink a lot more water now and am starting to feel better and not so stressed. However, since I am really starting to watch what I eat, I am afraid that I am not getting all of my calories in. Everytime I put in all of my entries, I am usually about 300-400 calories short :noway: . I am starting to worry that this is going to interfere with my weight loss goals because I am throwing my body into starvation mode.
Any help???

First of all, GOOD FOR YOU!!! My gym time is my "me time" also... what better way to do something great for yourself than to go get in a good workout!
About your calories... Plan, plan, plan  I do better when I plan out my meals... YOu do need to eat all of your calories. Make them calories that count... don't fill up at the end of the day on empty calories just to meet your calorie goal... I do better on my calories when I eat balanced meals... So, you may check that you are getting your protein and fruits and veggies that you need...
I hope that helps a little... just some things that I have learned on my journey....
Good luck with they rest of YOUR journey!! :drinker:

    Great start.

Try carrying around small snacks with you everywhere like you would for a small child. For fast breaks try 100 calorie packs or some snack baggies of your favorite crackers. I usally pre-weigh them all so I know how many calories in each bag and pack them as part of my lunch and stuff for the day.

Another way to help is to have good sized breakfast. This will boost your energy for the day and get you the calories you need. I find if I am lacking in calories at the end of the day it was because I didn't stop to eat breakfast.

Good Luck and keep up the good work.
