Hey everyone. I hope you're all doing well on your weight loss journeys. I rarely ever post anything on here but I thought it might be worth it to share my 'bulging bride' story and photos. Basically, when I joined MFP I was 176 pounds and prior to that had lost about 10. When I was trying on wedding dresses I just didn't look myself. I was never a 'skinny' [erson but had at least been average size. I felt huge. So, I ordered my dress two sizes smaller than I was at the time and motivated myself to fit in to my gown. Now, about 30 pounds later, and married for three months, I've decided to share my before and afters with you. For anyone in a similar situation, just work hard and keep focused one day at a time. You can do it. Enjoy the pics (befores are at the bottom of the page) Good luck! http://www.taylorsbridal.com/taylorsbridal/BrideOfMonth/ViewEntry.asp?id=5627

Great job! You look absolutely beautiful!!

I wish I would have gotten my dress a size smaller. I lost about 10 lbs after I bought it and had a lot of trouble getting it down to size with the way the dress was designed. I wish I had before pictures...

WOW! You look awesome! Congrats on your weight loss and on your marriage. I am a bride to be. I will be getting married August 2010 and I am definitely trying to loose the weight. I used to weigh 130 at my prime and now 4 years later I'm up to the biggest I have ever been 180pds. I'm very happy that you shared your pics with us. It definitely gives me that extra drive that I need. Thanks.

Thanks for the inspirational pictures. I am getting married in May 2010. I have my dress picked out, but I have hesitated to order it because I would like to be able to order it in a smaller size. I still have about 20 pounds until my goal weight.
