Just when I thought I was starting to lose motivation....

Around Christmas, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time. My brother has decided to organize my entire family (and it's a big one) to do the national 3 day 60 mile walk to end breast cancer through the Susan G. Koman Foundation. Among all the great news is that I get to fly to PA to walk with my insane family for 3 days in the fall. The not so great news is that I'M NOT READY!! Are you kidding me? 60 freakin' miles in 3 days... without my car? I'm in a lot of trouble! I need to train! Help!! I need beatings, beatings, beatings!! Who's on board to administer the beatings???

That's only 10 hours a day walking, you know you can do it! Take good walking shoes and blister pads.

Put in that exercise into the MFP log and see how many calories you'll burn and see whether that's all the more motivation to get out there and get started!

    Good Luck. Bob

***You'll love PA, it's a beautiful state! I walk there everyday. (Just out of curiousity, what part of the state will you be in?)

Wanderlust...this is AWESOME!!!! You can totally do it! And don't think about it being so long! Just take it one step at a time! And...I guarantee it's easier walking with people than by yourself! So...start walking as much as you can. Set small goals for yourself. YOU CAN DO IT! I'm so proud that you are doing this....how AWESOME!!!!!!!! Keep me posted on your progress!!!
