very small and unusual NSV

Last night my family ordered pizza subs. I love them. I had planned on a grilled chicken salad and was going to allow myself a breadsitck from the pizza order. Well, at the last minute I decided to have a chicken sub, thinking that I would eat only half and then give the rest to my husband.

We watched The Lorax as a family while we ate and I ended up eating the entire sub, which was 785 cals and too much fat and sodium to share. BUT, I did not do what I normally do when I allow myself to eat what I shouldn't. I didn't take that as a free pass to gorge or binge because I was already a "goner."

I concentrated on cleaning up the kitchen and the living room and then I turned out the light in the kitchen. I know it's a dumb victory to have blown the day and be happy about it. But, I'm not going to feel guilty about that sub - I'm going to be happy that I listened to my body, which was full from the sub and I moved on.
