Jumped on the scale today!!

It took a lot of effort for me NOT to jump the scale everyday. And even though my victory is extremely small compared to my GW, I still consider this a victory, because even the small amount of weight took a BIG effort to lose. I haven't met any of my set goals yet, but I am on my way there! I can't explain how good it feels right now even though I'm far off from where I want to be.

I have been making healthier eating habits, healthier snacking habits, and I have cut soda(pop) completely out of my diet. I have also returned to my Insanity workouts. I had to take a hiatus from it due to shin splints, and hernia surgery, but now I aim to finish both rounds, and to move onto Asylum. I know my small victory was probably water weight lol but nonetheless I am still very happy to see the numbers on the scale say, that I have lost 2lbs this week!!!

I will measure myself tomorrow for my official weigh in to see if I lost any inches on my body(I hope so). I am very happy with my small victory. It just means that I am one step closer to my initial short term goal.

I'm far from a success story right now, but I would just like to encourage those who are still battling the bulge. This isn't easy, but it is worth every bead of sweat that has dripped off my body. It has been hard to control my diet in the past, and it has been equally as hard to NOT give in, but with willpower and encouragement we all can get through this!!

Good luck to those who are still working towards their goals, and congrats to those who have succeeded to change their lifestyle completely. I admire everyone here who has taken this journey, and I look forward to some day posting my before and after pics!
