fat and other macros

How concerned should I be about dietary fat? I go over every day (basically). I think I am at a healthy body fat %, somewhere in the 20s, haven't measured/checked in awhile but since I have switched to maintenance calories I seem to consume a lot of fat.
I'm basically concerned health-wise, if it's something I shouldn't do then I can work on it. I don't even know what all it can do to your health or what it can affect. I notice a lot of guy friends on here consume a lot but they are probably cutting/bulking or whatever. My current focus is just to maintain my body for now because I'm happy after the weight loss, but also to keep lifting as I really like the muscle definition I have gained.
Without making it too complicated, are there times I should watch my intake more closely? Should I try to watch it everyday? If it's not a big deal, is there another macro I should watch, like saturated fat?
I appreciate any information...trying to learn

Simple answer, dietary fat is not the worst thing in the world, contrary to popular belief. I would say it comes down to your blood labs and then adjust from there.0

Fat doesn't make you fat. Carbs and sugar make you fat. Unused glucose is more easily converted and stored as fat. That's what my research and experience have demonstrated to me...
Lot's of science to read through if you're interested.

this statement is wrong. except for the fact that fat alone doesnt make you fat. one single macronutrient or food item is not responsible for making someone fat. it's calorie intake as a whole that causes one to gain or lose weight0 -
I believe about 30% of calories should be derived from fats for a hormone-regulating diet. The fat in our foods provide our bodies with the essential fatty acids to build eicosanoids, hormones that control bodily functions.
Our food needs to be composed of a balance of carbs, proteins and fats. A stable blood sugar level is one of the benefits of a balanced diet. With a stable blood sugar level , a woman experiences fewer health risks and enjoys balanced moods, extended energy and greater concentration and attention span.0 -
I only watch saturated fat. I will probably take it off soon because it doesn't seem to be much of a problem for me. I was just curious what my intake was in numbers. My bloodwork has always been fine so I'm not too worried about it.
On the other side, I am somewhat limited with the foods I can eat so I try to throw in olive oil where I can.
I think most people go wrong in the fat department by eating processed sweets full of carbs and sugar. It all relates and I'm not going to sit down with and do equations trying to figure out what I can eat every day. As I said, not being able to eat certain foods kind of takes care of a lot of worries for me.0 -
If you feel good, then there really isn't an issue. I need to watch my fat but it is fairly easy for me to do.0

Thank you... I am so sick of the "carbs and sugar are evil" groups. No one thing makes you fat.0 -
I think I have some reading cut out for me. Couldn't hurt. Thanks everyone for your input!0

Eating more food than necessary is what makes you fat. That is all.0
