I feel so powerful this morning...

Yesterday I knew we were going to Pizza Ranch last night so I saved back a bunch of calories for dinner, didn't eat a whole lot of carbs throughout the day and then went and ran/walked 3 laps around the lake which is 0.6 miles/lap. So that gave me 321 calories minus the 50 calories that I usually burn in 30 minutes just by being alive. Anyway, I ate somewhat sensibly and when I weighed this morning, I weighed 2/10 of a pound less! Not much but not a gain. Woo hoo!!! I was so afraid it would be up. But, this really gave me the encouragement and drive to keep going. Yay!!!

Good job planning ahead. Looks like it worked for you. Oh, and thin crust pizza has less cals. then regular crust. Just in case you need to know

Congrats! This just proves that you dont have to deprive yourself to lose weight. Its all about adding exercise and planning ahead. Good Job. Im going to a birthday party and my goal is no birthday cake because I want some pizza...or viseversa...we will see how good the cake looks!
  • Sounds fun Bossy! Go burn 200-300 calories before you go and then enjoy yourself! :drinker:
  • OMG I loooove Pizza Ranch. Except I call it "Chicken Ranch" cuz I'm all about their chicken. Yum!

Congrats on maintaining. Anytime I plan a "cheat" I like to prepare for it in those ways, that way it does as little damage as possible. It's nice to know we can still go out and eat like everyone else, so long as we are smart about it.

Congrats! I had a date with my husband last night and we went to Red Lobster. I planned ahead too, including getting enough exercise cals to be able to have part of an appetizer and dessert. Had a nice dinner, with most of the things I love, but didn't feel guilty because I knew I was okay. It is a good feeling:)
  • Congratulations on the planning ahead. I am busy working on planning ahead as I am going to a baby shower for my grandson today. Plan on being sensible but munching a little.
  • Thanks everyone and congrats and doing so well yourself! We're all going to be a lot healthier for our efforts!
