Last year (March or April 2011), I took the first step on my weight loss journey. I spent about 6 weeks working really hard, doing a combination of MFP counting calories and the 30 day shred. I lost 16lbs. Then I basically hit a mental wall and stopped trying to lose. I did a fairly good job maintaining where I was at, but I didn't drop anymore weight. About 5 weeks ago, I started it up again and have lost another 12lbs...so 28lbs total. Feeling a bit frustrated with how slow my journey has been and trying to keep myself motivated, I decided to have my daughter take a pic of me this morning and compare it to my before pic from last March/April. WOW. I couldn't believe the difference so I had to share it here. Seeing the difference visually was so much more motivating than watching the scale inch downward (or worse...fluctuate!) My BIG goal is to lose another 20lbs but I'm setting small goals for myself along the way.

March/April 2011 - 184lbs (I am 5'4")

August 2012 - 156lbs

I can't access your pictue, but way to go!!!! I can tell a lot more in pictures than on the scale as well... like someone else said, you see yourself everyday so it's like watching grass grow! I'm really happy for you!
