I have always been active in my life. Sometimes I tip the scales a little heavy..but not excessively so..so my "skin" issues is not from weight loss perse. After 3 kids, the skin on my abdoment kind of resembles a deflated balooon. I have good musculature, very little fat, and in clothes I loook like I have a firm/flat tummy. In a bikini or nude however, the toil of 3 pregnancies and one csection are evident.
I know in a perfect world I'd just accept this. I'd realize this is just a part of the "mommy" process and have a perfect self esteem and just be ok with it. It's not like I thik about it all the time, or ever everyday..but when I see pics of my pre babies body I think "I look the same, except the tummy". I'm not wanting something I've never had..I simply want what I had before children. I want my tummy to be smooth and tight, not a six pack you can't see because it's encased in an envelope of stretched out skin.
I had a consult with a surgeon a couple years back, and he said my surgery would be simple because it's just skin removal and mucle tightening, not removing fat. 7 grand. For me that's a lot. I am a single mom, and that kind of money has a thousand different things that I KNOW are more logical to spend it on. Yet...I still hit bikini season every year and think "I should just do this".
Who here has had experience with this? What was your decision, and what were the results? Thanks.

Its okay wanting to get your tummy done, you already did all the hard work, so your deserve it, you are not being selfish. Im also getting one done in jan/ or feb, I too have three kids. Im just working on the last pounds so I wont have to get lipo. My husband said I could use the money from our taxes. Do you have taxes coming up? or you can save half and finance the rest, or travel somewhere else within the usa where its cheaper ( for example) here in las vegas is 5500.0
